Anyone who owns Assassins Creed for the PC will probably need to see this “tutorial” so that they can quit out of the game. Eleven steps later comes the undocumented twelfth step, a spiritual awakening to realize how much that sucked. Video @ Kotaku
Apparently being a regular in the return line at your local Best Buy to try to return video games over and over again could raise suspicion of fraud. Who knew? Apparently not this guy. Full Story @ Austin Post-Bulletin

 | News: Is a gaming addiction like Aspergers? |
omegadot writes "Aspergers Syndrome is characterized by difficulty with social interaction but is separate from other forms of Autism in that those afflicted are able to function normally aside from their obvious difficulties. Speech and cognitive ability are otherwise unharmed. This British study recently concluded that those addicted to video games exhibited many of the same signs such as "neuroticism, lack of extraversion and agreeableness." This seems to follow a somewhat recent trend of attaching deeper psychological evaluations to what we’d consider far less serious behaviors."
